We have found a bug with the search box and header style #2 on a large amount of mobile devices.  If you toggle the header layout design of the theme from style #1 to style #2, many mobile devices cant use the search box.  You get results that vary from the keyboard on the device disappearing to the focus not being accepted when it's clicked on.

I can provide additional info in regards to device types if needed.

The versions of the software I'm using are as follows-

Nop Commerce - 3.7
NopUltimateThemeCollection 3.7.490.19765
Brooklyn Theme

Devices and Browsers that have the issue(s) -

Disappearing keyboard-
Model number: Samsung SM-T520
Android Version: 4.4.2
Browser/Version: Chrome/56.0.2924.87

Model number: Lenovo A3000-h
Android version: 4.2.2
Browser /Version : Chrome/56.0.2924.87

Disappearing keyboard and unable to click in search box (depending on the browser used)

Model number: Motorola MZ617
Android version: 4.1.2
Browser /Version : Android Browser 4 (cant click in search box)
Chrome version 56.0.2924.87 (disappearing keyboard)

Please advise on how to fix.... thanks.
Troy

Hello all, I know this is a year old but I am having the same issue and am using a newer version of the Brooklyn theme (Version=3.8.1139.26864) in NopCommerce 3.80

When using header #2 the mobile search text-input cannot be clicked on but the search button can be pressed and the submission will generate an error about being empty.

Our website is in production and cannot be upgraded at this time so I would be very grateful if you could tell me where to change any code or css to get this working.

Thank you!

The error was caused by the refactoring of code in the brooklyn.js file.  I replaced the entire file with an updated version provided by NopTemplates which resolved the issue.  I do not know what exact lines of code in the file were changed to resolve the issue.

I would assume that I cant share that file with you due to licensing restrictions (even though it's to fix a bug), so you will need to contact NopTemplates for the fix.  If you're not under contract with them for maintenance on the theme, I would think that they would work with you to provide you a fix of some sort based off of your theme version.  They've always worked well with me in the past on the various issues I've had.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
