Layout Issues

Hello.

I've had an existing site up and running for a while using the Jewelry Theme. Last week I added an additional store using nopCommerce multi-store to the site and purchased and installed the Lighthouse Theme. I'm now having layout issues with the new theme/store. Can someone please get back to me about this...I have a picture to send that shows the exact issue. Thanks - Scott

We've been using the Jewelry Theme on our site for over a year now and have recently decided to add another store for which we purchased the Lighthouse Theme. I have installed the new theme and things are mostly working but I have lost the ability under the Jewelry Theme to select "About Us" in the MegaMenu plugin. How can I go about getting this back? I have tried uninstalling Jewelry and reinstalling but that did not give me the option back.

Hello,

I just upgraded from 3.0 to 3.1 and am having several issue with my test site now. The site theme has been set up using the guide that came with the theme. The first problem is with the "HomePageMainSlider". This control used to load instantaneously but now takes about 20 seconds to load on every page visit. The second issue is with the details of an item not displaying correctly. When you click on an item from the catalog and it loads the detail two copies of the top portion with the picture and the cloud zoom control are being displayed. The third problem seems to be an issue with the desktop browser in Windows 8.1 and has to do with the "News" and "Bestseller" section at the bottom overlapping each other. As I mentioned it renders properly on older browsers but does not on the newest - this is just a heads-up as 8.1 will be released shortly.

If someone could contact me about these problems via e-mail I can provided a link to the site so you can see exactly what I'm experiencing. The site is not live yet so I cannot publish the URL here.

First let me say that I really love this theme, excellent work!

I'm having an issue with two of your controls when using a reverse proxy scenario under IIS - and only when using the reverse proxy setup otherwise it renders perfectly. The two controls I'm having issues with are the Mega Menu and Cloud Zoom. The Mega Menu control won't display the image associated with the categories but otherwise works just fine for the actual navigation. The Cloud Zoom initially loads perfectly and does in fact zoom on the first image but if you then select any other image it won't load that picture. Again let me reiterate that both controls work fine from my URL that just uses a tcp port for access but not when going through the reverse proxy which is what I will need for production. So, I was wondering if someone could give me a little information on how those controls work behind the scenes and maybe shed some light on why the reverse proxy isn't working. If someone could email me I could provide the two links to the same site, one that works and the reverse that doesn't so you can see what is happening - I don't want to post the links here as they are just test sites at this point.

Quick response - thank you.

I went into languages...resource strings as you instructed and found that both of those resources were there however they had no value so I updated them with the ones you provided. I will let you know if the log warnings stop now.

Also you asked me to look at resource xml file and both resources are in there along with the correct value.

I'm not sure what you mean by "updated the whole plugin". I followed the instructions included in the 3.00 theme download for upgrading both nopCommerce itself and the SevenSpikes plugins. As far as I could see the only thing that needed to be done was to run the SQL upgrade package and then copy the plugins into place. Was/is there something else that needs to be done? What can be done right now to correct the problem?

Hello,

I just upgraded from 2.8 to 3.0 and I'm seeing the following two warnings repeated in the log:

Resource string (sevenspikes.plugins.anywheresliders.admin.carouselsettings) is not found. Language ID = 1

Resource string (sevenspikes.plugins.anywheresliders.admin.carousel3dsettings) is not found. Language ID = 1

Can someone tell me how to stop this so my log doesn't continue to get cluttered up?

Thanks for the response.

My problem is that there are no fields to fill in. I have a virtual gift card set up - I've also tried it with the physical one as well - and there simply aren't fields available to fill out. I can send you pictures or if you can PM me I can give you the link to try it. I don't want to paste it in here.

I am unable to use gift cards with the jewelry theme as when I try to add them to the card they say please enter name and email address for recipient but there are no fields displayed in which to enter this information. Please let me know what you find.
