Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I downloaded the new version and tested it out locally. For my current purposes I think Sibling Categories fits better than Sub Categories. What I was after was siblings and subs but I realise this might not be a common scenario.
Thanks anyway.

Greg

PS. I downloaded the plugins from the fashion theme and it stopped my mega menu from working. There were also only about 4 plugins listed under the automatic integration fashion settings. I didn't look into it further, just thought I'd mention it.

Hi,
I've added a carousel using the Sibling Categories datasource. It works well but I was wondering if there was a way to include children categories in this source.

My issue is with the data I am using. I have 2 top level categories, each with 3 or 4 child categories, and each of those with 3 or 4 child categories. This means that the carousel doesn't look very full (especially when viewing a top level category which only has 1 sibling)

Anyway, just wondering if it's possible.

Thanks,
Greg

The customer sells parts for whitegoods products. The products are categorised - 'Vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, dryers, microwaves etc'
They would like a filter that allows their customers to select the category, then manufacturer, then by attributes. Eg: Vacuum cleaner, Electrolux, compatible model number 123456.
Thanks,
Greg

Hi,
We have a customer who would like the ajax filters to include categories. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Greg

I see what I've done now.
I already had the ultimate collection of plugins installed so I didn't copy them over from the theme zip. The plugins in the theme zip contain the additional widget zones in SupportedWidgetZones.xml and AdditionalSupportedWidgetZones.xml.

I'm using the 2.65 fashion theme.
I think the Footer.cshtml view should be under the Common folder to match the core views. I think this moved in either nop 2.5 or 2.6.
This also means that _Root.cshtml needs to reference it like this @Html.Action("Footer", "Common")

Hi,
I've followed the Installation instructions to install the fashion theme that we purchased but hit a roadblock where it asks to select the custom widget zone - fashion_home_page_main_slider - which doesn't seem to exist (I checked the theme views). Has this changed since the new widget zones were added and the documentation just not updated? Or did I miss something?

Thanks in advance,
Greg
