How to change currency symbol to uppercase on just added to cart popup?

Hi, I am in South Africa and our currency is "R" (rand). Our entire site displays this correctly, except for the "Just added to your cart" popup which displays it as a "r" e.g:
r 7 200,00 incl vat / per unit

Any idea how to change this? I don't mind digging in the code but please give me a clue as to where and what!

We are using the FormatPrice method of the nopCommerce PriceFormatter to format the price in the Ajax Cart popup. You should make your modifications there.
