- we setup a custom home page using the one column format, everything was working well
- we installed the Nop Home Page Sliders plugin and added items,
- the home page started displaying the three column format.
- Only the first of the carousel items was displaying.
- Uninstalled Nop Home Page Sliders and the format was back to one column.

repeated the installation and uninstallation a few times, each time the same result.

We tried doing the manual insertion, following the instructions, but the slider doesn't appear on the page.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Which version of the Sliders do you use?
The automatic deployment option should be switched off, otherwise the Index.cshtml view will be replaced by the one supplied with the plugin in AutomaticDeployment folder.
This view is styled for the Dark Orange theme with three column layout, so if you have made any modifications you should not use it.
Please guys read the documentation carefully it is all written there.

We found the problem. We added items to the slider but didn't check the "Visible" check box. Didn't realize what that was. Found that and it works great! Beautiful, customer loves it.

The three column page - that explains it. We did a manual insertion on a one column page, and it didn't work. Then we checked the visible check boxes and it works perfectly.

Just us tripping over our own feet here.
