Can I arrange the order of sub category at home page?

I found out when i input the sub-category by date, the latest one will place at the bottom at home page, but it have a display order function to arrange the priority only inside Category page, can i  have your suggestion which i can place the sub-category the latest at the top

e.g (now)
 What News (Category)
 2015/01/23 (sub- category)
 Big Sale
 2015/01/29  (latest input)

Hi simon17,

The Home Page Categories are ordered by Display order, which you can set in each category that you have. You can't have a different ordering on Home Page Categories and on Category page.

Thanks, i can now arrange the priority of category, but i still can't arrange the sub-category order, i have set the display order as follow, but nothing has changed

I don't see any categories on the page that you have provided. Did you managed to find an answer to your question? If no, please provide screenshots with some explanations.

Seems this page cannot attach any photo, I hope I can explain clearly to you, at our homepage, when you point to Category "What News", it show four sub-categories which place the order as follow

What News
2015-01-23    2015Big Sale   2015-01-29   2015-02-04

And what I want is to place 2015-02-04 and 2015-01-29 atthe first and second priority (as follow), but now it seems the ordering is determine by the date of input.

What News
2015-02-04   2015-01-29  2015-01-23  2015Big Sale
