Megamenu view based on ACL

Is it possible to have a separate view based on the ACL. I have 2 types of customer roles, retail and trade and would like the views to be different depending on what type of user they are.

This has been resolved now, instead of using 2 separate views I have used the same view but hidden menu items based on customer role.

I am wondering how I can add additional items to the megamenu. I looked at the documentation and was able to follow and add an additional topic.This was not a problem,  but I was then wondering how can I add an additional item to the megamenu based on users or ACL.

Please do help me with this.
