I am trying to install the plugins to the Urban theme and it is telling me that it can not find part of the path for product ribbons or the theme plugin. How might i correct this.

I have change how my pictures are retrieved.
How exactly and what have you changed to retrieve the pictures in some other way?
I would like to know how I can import you plugin into my solution for me to be able to edit it to change the method for retrieving images.
Which file should I be looking at?
If you have changed the implementation of the IPictureService then the Cloud Zoom plugin should just work as it used the IPictureService to get the pictures of the products.

There is still no support for the By Tag catalog pages.
We wanted to make them work first on the search page (which we did).
The next step is to make them work on the By Tag pages but we need to see that there is some interest in the community first.
Please suggest your idea and vote for it in our UserVoice portal.

Thanks - I had just figured it out. I went to the download zip fit+ and saw the 3.6 upgrade. Had to look at the zip file though ...
Hi Rgrant,
You don't need to install the plugins again. You just need to follow the upgrade instructions.
In the 3.6 folder you will find a folder named "Upgrade". Basically you just need to run the upgrade script. But if you want we can take a look. Please submit a ticket and we will advice.

I have been struggling the past few weeks with a problem that I need solved asap. We installed a 3.40 nopcommerce website (on a localhost machine for test and trial) with the Tiffany theme.
The client for whom the website is destined has a little amount of products to display. Little enough to make subcategories unnecessary.
Currently in our Megamenu there are Categories (good) and subcategories (needs direct link). We would love if there was a possibility to replace these subcategories with specific products (let's say about 4-5 per main category as the client only has 12 products), and would love them to be displayed in the top menu so that his customers can easily switch back and forth.
I understand that there might be an out-of-the box solution where I have to adjust some .cshtml files (Topmenu.cshtml?), but so far, everything I have tried didn't work for me.
Is there any documentation available for this sort of issue? Thanks!

Hi Jeff,
As far as I understand, you want to show products in the Mega Menu.
Please note that the Mega Menu does not have support for showing products. It supports showing only categories. You can suggest this idea in our UserVoice portal.
The only way to achieve this now having in mind that you have only 12 products is to hard-code the products in place of the categories directly in the Mega Menu Razor files, which is not a good option but it should work.

Ok, so where does one get the update. We've updated the cart to 3.6 and the Electronic theme blows up the cart.
I would have thought that those of us that have purchased thO theme would have been notified and provided the download for for 3.6.
I've searched the site and do not find nor is available in My Account.

It is the same download link that you have in your My Account. We have just added the new 3.6 version to it. You just need to download the package again as described in this article.

What is your database? Please note that we don't support SQL Compact Edition. You need to use SQL Server 2008 or above.

We should select payment methods in "Unpaid orders reminder". Some payment methods have their specific time to be completed and customers should not get the e-mail in this period.

This idea is already suggested in our UserVoice portal, so please vote for it.
The idea is to be able to exclude some payment methods for an Unpaid Order Reminder. For example all orders that use "Cache on delivery" payment method will simply be ignored and the customers won't get an unpaid order reminder for their order.
Is this something that is going to work for you or you need something else?

That works for english being added. However i added german language pack and tried to restart the application and the store crashed. I had to restore the database.
I have a guess: the xml file for german is somehow corrupt. I looked and nobody complained about it. The end of the file has fields neatly closed. i didnt see a problem.
However i added 2 published languages before restarting the application, is that what caused the crash do you think? Im hesitant to try again if i think it will crash again.

I am referring to the resources of our products. Each plugin has Resources folder and it contains the resources required for the given plugin. I am not talking about the general resources in nopCommerce. It is possible that there might be some problems with the german language pack or any other language packs but you need to contact the vendor of these language packs and ask them to fix these issues.

Unfortunately this theme is quite different than the standard nopCommerce markup.
We downloaded the theme and tried to integrate the Ajax Filters plugin and found that there is some strange logic on some pages that is breaking some core functionality in nopcommerce.
There is a widget zone on the left column that needs to be show and the Ajax Filters are integrated into this widget zone but the theme has a different markup and does not show this widget zone (don't see any reason for this change really).
So you need to manually add this widget zone on the left column to get the Ajax Filters to appear. But this is not all as the markup and css classes of the controls is also different i.e view per page, sort by etc. So these controls will not be ajaxified by the Ajax Filters plugin.
You can upgrade to nopCommerce 3.6 and use the new default clean theme that comes for free and is fully compatible with all our plugins. Also all our plugins will have styling for the new default clean. You can see the new theme demo here.
