Hello,
Which IE webbrowsers are Mega Menu compatible with?
IE8 do not work, is this browser to old to use with the Mega Menu plug in?
We are using NopCommerce 3.30 with furniture theme version 3.30 we received reports from users indicating that IE did not work so well with the Mega Menu plug in installed.

Is it possible to display specification attributes on mega menu. For example, on http://www.winerack.co.uk/ website, it displays type, grape variety and country when you select all wines. I know in mega menu, it can display category, manufacture and vendor. Does that mean I have to use vendor to store country, use manufacture to store grape variety?

Unfortunately the Mega Menu does not support this out of the box. Winerack had made a custom solution on top of the Mega Menu and the Ajax Filters plugins. It is customization made by them and is specific to their store, so it is not available as part of the plugin.

I figured out #3. I was able to update xml file directly.
back to #1, to show ajax filter when clicking a category, it seems I need to make a product belong to both the category and the sub-category. Can anyone shred some light on what's a better way to do that? Thanks!

Hi shellyshao,
There is no need to add the products from a subcategory to the parent category if you want to show them in parent category. You simply need to enable a setting from the administration from Configuration -> Settings -> Catalog Settings. Then check the "Include products from subcategories" checkbox and save the settings.

Hi,
I tried to upgrade nopcommerce and theme to new vers. 3,3 but I'm experiencing problems same as 3,1 to 3,2 before.
1- So I uninstalled sevenspikes plugins and neo fashion theme, and than, I upgraded nopcommerce to 3.3
2- to install theme I copied plugins and theme files and without doing nothing more I'm started to getting this eror:

Hi fakeplacebo,
There is no need to uninstall the plugins. Also you need to run the upgrade script of the theme.
Please follow the steps described in this video (it is for 3.2 but it is the same for 3.3).

One of the issues that we're having is that the plugin is using the file from the thumbs directory which is resized to 500 wide. For example, we upload a slider image that is 952 wide to exactly match the theme width. Then on display, the plugin retrieves the thumbs _500 image to display and resizes it back to 952 wide. So, what was a perfect image at 952 was resized down to 500 and then resized back up to 952.
Is there anyway to force the plugin to use the original image file instead of the thumb? Or force it to use a higher resolution thumb?
The way it's working now is causing some image quality issues.

Hi Nate,
None of our Sliders uses the thumb images but always uses the original version of the uploaded images.
Which version of the plugin do you use and what type of Slider i.e Nivo, 2D etc.?
Can you give us a link to your web site, so that we can take a look?

Hi - on Forums, the Search magniifying glass is missing, just a blank grey square! Could do with that as otherwise all is good with forums! Any quick fix appreciated, expect you can build it into any new releases. Phil.

New Bug: I have the theme setup but am having trouble with the Mega Menu functionality on a products page.
When you...
go to a product page
hover over the top navigation menu (a category that is directly above the products image)
move your mouse down the subcategories (which the last few sub-categories overlap the products image)
then when your mouse goes over the products image (still behind the sub-category menu), the navigation menu closes before you could go down and select the lower sub-categories.
I hope that makes sense.

This is fixed now. You have several other questions in the forum and instead of replying to all of them I will reply only to this one.
There are many fixes to the theme as well as we have changed the way the Ribbons work and they are much easier to work with. You have more predefined positions to put your images. Also we have included the images from our theme demos into the plugin, so you can use them as well.
It would be best to uninstall the Ribbons plugin, then update the plugin and install it again.
It would be best to update the theme as described in this video.

Hi, I use Copy product feature to enter products to store but after I realized that I still have title of product and description of first product that I use to create others.
In admin panel everything looks good titles are correct for products. I try with deleting portal and browser cache, restarting application etc. but problem is still there.

"Copy product" functionality is part of the nopCommerce framework and has nothing to do with the Motion theme. But to be honest I don't really understand what the problem is. What exactly is wrong with the "Copy product" functionality in nopCommerce (please specify your nopCommerce version)?
