Hi joster,

Yes, we enabled the forums on the demo. The forum is working fine. We also tested locally and it is working fine too. I guess it is an issue with your forum (database). Does your forum works if you switch to the defaultClean theme?

Thanks

Oh boy...I was sure hoping that this was theme related, as we touched absolutely ZERO lines of code associated with the forums....nope, not a single edit was ever made to any of the views in the /boards folder.

I have also opened and checked the data in the database table and see nothing wrong with it.

Because it is now a production website, I cannot just try other themes. I am in process of establishing a development environment and will try changing theme to defaultClean and see if we still have the problem.

Can you think of anything else that might be a problem?

I updated my productribbons plugin and cleared my log.

So far, no problems. :-)

Thanks!

Hello again-

Have you had a chance to enable the forums on your demo and see if you have the same problem yet?

I am no expert at CSS, but I can't see any reason for the topic and post content to all be "hidden" like it is.

Very frustrating..

..as well as the productribbons issue I mentioned here:

I haven't had that error since deleting and re-creating the slider, but have had more than a few of these per day:

Hello-

We have just gone live with our new nopcommerce 3.20 website with alfresco theme, and I'm getting an error in the log pretty frequently that I do not understand.
We do have the productribbons enabled, but we have only created one ribbon, and it is NOT enabled.

This is the error from the log:

Error
The log entry message.Short message:   The parameters dictionary contains a null entry for parameter 'productPageId' of non-nullable type 'System.Int32' for method 'System.Web.Mvc.ActionResult RetrieveProductRibbons(Int32, Int32[])' in 'SevenSpikes.Nop.Plugins.ProductRibbons.Controllers.ProductRibbonsController'. An optional parameter must be a reference type, a nullable type, or be declared as an optional parameter. Parameter name: parameters..............

OK...firstly, shouldn't that URL be included in the robots.txt or otherwise denied to IUSR?
..and secondly...how can I make it stop!!!

Thanks-
Steve

Yep...it's me again....

I am not sure if this is a bug with the 3.20 Alfresco theme or with the 3.20 update from nopcommerce.

I didn't noticed until last night, but there is a big problem with the /boards (forums).

See here:  http://www.myfootshop.com/boards

As you can see on that page, there are topics and posts...but every link into a forum group looks the same...nothing shows. Try clicking any forum link to see what I mean.

Direct links to individual topics also now fail:

Does anybody else have this problem? What might cause this?

Thanks-

Howdy,
In our user testing we're enjoying the layout of the Alfresco theme.  One request that keeps coming up involves the location of the search bar on the index page vs all other pages.  On the index page the search bar is in the upper left corner but it moves to the lower rightt hand side of the top border on all other pages.  i understand that if it were to go in the top border tool bar, more than 4 task buttons would push the search bar off of the page.
Any way we can orient the search bar on the index page to a location lower right so that the search bar is found consistently in one spot on all pages?
Thanks.

Hello-

We've got a few sliders configured, but only 1 of them is active. Running 3.20 with alfresco theme.
I'm getting these warnings in my log very frequently and not sure why or how to stop them:

Warning  Resource string (sevenspikes.plugins.anywheresliders.admin.carouselsettings) is not found. Language ID = 1

Warning  Resource string (sevenspikes.plugins.anywheresliders.admin.carousel3dsettings) is not found. Language ID = 1

When I looked in string resources, I can find them by system.name, but they have no value specified...so I tried putting a "0" in the value field and updated..then the slider stopped working completely, but caused no more warnings in log. So I went back to edit the string resource again to remove the "0" I added... and it will not let me update with no value!!!

What value should be there for these two resources, and where did they go??!!??

UPDATE:
I deleted and re-configured another slider like the other one, and am not getting the warnings in my log any more, but I am still curious if you have information why this could happen.

Thanks!
