Q3: How to Enable SSL for Your NopCommerce Store?

The SSL allows for secure connections from a web server to a browser. Typically, SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer, and logins.

So, let’s say you have already bought an SSL certificate and you have installed it on your server. In two steps I will show you how to enable the SSL for your nopCommerce store.

Step 1
Go to Configuration-> Stores in the administration of your store. Click edit, and the store details page will open up.
Mark the checkbox SSL enabled and then provide the secure URL of your store. Save the changes.
This will allow for a secure connection on the cart, login, register, and checkout pages of your website.

Step 2
To activate a secure connection on all website pages, go to Settings-> General Settings and scroll down to the security settings. Then mark the checkbox Force SSL for all site pages.
